At the second attempt, Isle of Arran berthing at Wemyss Bay on Sunday 18th February 2012 after diversion from Ardrossan while acting as relief ship on the Brodick to Ardrossan service.  IoA was covering for Caledonian Isles following her being damaged while berthing at Ardrossan and being caught by severe gusts of wind.
