ArgyllFerries take over the Gourock to Dunoon ferry service
Thursday 30th June is the first day of the foot-passenger only service between Gourock and Dunoon.
MV Ali Cat was sporting her new ArgyllFerries livery on the late afternoon services on Wednesday 29th although the instructions from crew when you went onto the top deck was to "not touch any blue paint as its still wet"!! Looking quite smart but a wee bit of white paint to cover the rust marks would have helped the overall appearance. The rush to get everything into place for the new contract has not helped such finer points of detail.
With the delayed entry into service of her running mate on this service, ArgyllFerries have chartered Clyde Marine's Clyde Clipper to act as the second vessel on the service
Clyde Clipper returning to Gourock after berthing trials at Dunoon on Wednesday 29th June.
