Queen Mary

In August 2011, the former Clyde Steamer Queen Mary was put up for auction, following the collapse of a proposed project to convert her to a hotel ship in France.

At October 2011, it is understood that while no acceptable bid was made during the auction, a subsequent sale agreement has been reached with a prospective buyer - further details are awaited.

This article remembers TS Queen Mary as she was on the Clyde, primarily as the "Glasgow Boat" and provides links to other websites with additional information and photographs.
